As we come to the end of the year, we wanted to let you know work on the Delburn Wind Farm is progressing well.

Negotiations for construction contracts are advancing, and we expect them to be finalised soon. This will enable us to confirm construction timeframes and further project details early in the new year. OSMI will remain closely involved in the project’s construction and early operations.

As we move into this next phase, the project’s commitment to deliver more than $22 million in neighbour and community benefit sharing programs over its 35-year operational life remains. This includes:

• a near neighbour profit share of $500,000 per annum; and
• the community development fund of $150,000 per annum. 
  

We look forward to engaging with you further on these programs in the new year.

Construction of the Delburn Wind Farm will bring a diverse range of local jobs in labouring, safety, truck driving, earthworks, concrete pumping, cable trenching, directional drilling, cleaning, mechanical fitting, and wind turbine technical installation. Operational roles will also become available as construction progresses.

New CCC Members 

We are pleased to welcome new Community Consultative Committee (CCC) members Melita Ludekins from Mirboo North, Karen Pedretti from Hearnes Oak, and Peter McCarthy from Mirboo North. New members from Thorpdale and Yinnar are encouraged to join the committee to provide local insights.
