Dr Anthony Boxshall has been appointed as the Independent Chair of the Delburn Wind Farm CSCC.  Anthony is the Principal and Founder of Science into Action Pty Ltd, a science impact company.

Anthony has made a career of demystifying science for communities and all non-scientists. He is a strong, clear and accountable Chair and facilitator whose primary aim is to leave people with both the content, and the strategy for their next steps. As the co-founder of Authentic Co-design, he is adept at co-design processes to enable clear decision-making that brings along all stakeholders, and diverse communities and interest groups.

Anthony is an experienced Executive and Board level scientific leader with expertise in environmental, conservation and climate adaptation science and the practical application of science for decision-making. He is a qualified Board Director (Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors) and a member of the Institute of Learning Professionals. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, where he is the current Melbourne Enterprise Fellow.

Expressions of interest to participate in the CSCC are still being taken.  We are keen to ensure a diverse committee membership covering all communities surrounding the project representing a range of views, and strongly encourage anyone with concerns about the project to nominate.

Anthony’s first task will be to finalise the membership of the committee and he will be seeking information from community representatives who have expressed interest in joining the committee to assist him in this process.
