Delburn Wind Farm Planning Permit Amendment Approved

Three wind energy facility planning permit amendments requested by the Delburn Wind Farm have been approved.

Mr Peter Marriott, Executive Director Development at OSMI Australia welcomed the approval and thanked the community for sharing their feedback with the Planning Minister.

“Our aim is to build positive and lasting relationships with the communities around the Delburn Wind Farm and we are grateful to those people who took the time to make a submission.

“This decision paves the way for us to continue our work to meet the Planning Permit conditions and start construction of the Delburn Wind Farm in 2024.”

The approval of the three wind energy facility permits comes after the Delburn Wind Farm applied to the Planning Minister requesting the amendments in July 2023.

The application requested minor amendments to the wording of several of the conditions, to improve understanding and interpretation and to ensure the enforceability of the permit requirements. Information on the Planning Permit Amendments can be found at the Department of Planning’s website (click here).

Any questions regarding the approved permit amendments can be directed to the Delburn Wind Farm by calling 1800 676 428 or emailing [email protected].

We welcome drop-ins from residents who wish to visit our office at 66 Ridgway, Mirboo North.
