DNV GL has assessed the potential EMI impacts for the Project in accordance with the Victorian Planning Guidelines and Draft National Wind Farm Development Guidelines. The methodology used in the study has been informed by these guidelines and various standard industry practices.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2668253a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2668253a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Methodology<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7ea4d995 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7ea4d995\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The methodology used for the EMI assessment included:<\/p><ul><li>A review of the radio communication licenses held by the Australian Communications and MediaAuthority (ACMA) within 75 kilometres of the wind farm site related to the following:<ul><li>Fixed point-to-point links<\/li><li>Fixed point-to-multipoint links; and<\/li><li>Radio communications assets belonging to emergency services<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>A review of the trigonometrical stations within 75 kilometres of the wind farm site;<\/li><li>A review of the aviation and meteorological radar within 250 nautical miles (463 kilometres) of the wind farm site;<\/li><li>A review of the following communications:<ul><li>Broadcast television<\/li><li>Citizens band (CB) radio and mobile phones<\/li><li>Wireless internet<\/li><li>Broadcast radio<\/li><li>Satellite television and internet<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Liaison with organisations that have or may have communication equipment in the region (telecommunication companies, media companies, emergency services and government agencies); and<\/li><li>Consideration of likely impacts in the context of the Draft National Guidelines as these are considered to meet, if not exceed, the recommendations of the Victorian class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The site is intersected by a significant number of communications signals and the project has been designed to avoid significant interference with these communications pathways. \u00a0In the majority of cases the wind farm has been assessed as posing a low risk of interference to communications.<\/p><p>It has been identified that there is a low risk of interference associated with:<\/p><ul><li>One point to point link associated with Gippsland Water operations.<\/li><li>Digital television broadcast signals received from nearby towers at a number of dwellings around the project.<\/li><li>Wireless internet signals received from the Boolarra NBN tower at several dwellings in the vicinity of the project (however NBN Co has advised that no impact is expected on any currently connected dwellings).<\/li><li>Point-to-multipoint links associated with the Latrobe Valley Flood Warning System.<\/li><li>FM radio signals from the Kids FM broadcast tower to the north of the project.<\/li><li>Satellite television signals from two satellites that transmit programs internationally.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-5b997bd2 elementor-invisible\" data-id=\"5b997bd2\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\" data-settings=\"{&quot;animation&quot;:&quot;fadeInRight&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-014a8fd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"014a8fd\" options are available if any interference is experienced.\u00a0Where mitigation measures are required to return services to pre-development quality, these will be implemented at the developers cost.<\/p><p>Potential impacts on other services are considered unlikely.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-75e1683
